  Chilled, popped and poured. Brilliant golden colour in the glass. Very lively aromatic nose, some salinity and a custard note. Rich on the mouth but not thick and unctuous. Lots of rich botrytized fruit but with a strong long stony finish.

  Golden, going to pale amber. Large bq w typical PG nose (only much more so!); yellow apples, honey, minerality, floral notes (roses). Full body w excellent acidity, lots of honeyed fruit, perfect balance. Very long aftertaste w quince fruit and orange peel. Not completely dry, but excellent with food. Still very much alive, no hurry to drink. Great wine!

Medium weight, typical profile of white peach, floral tones, golden slightly honeyed citrus and an almost quinine-like edge - slightly sweet feeling but stony and seemingly dry on the finish.   C'est bon, mais je ne retrouve ni le "feu" du Rangen, ni une grande précision aromatique, ni une structure bien dessinée. Ce n'est en fait pas très intense.
  NB: il s'agit d'une bouteille rescapée du 16-11-04, qui a été conservée dans de mauvaises conditions depuis l'incident.
