  Coravin and drunk almost immediately. Elegant with pretty red fruits, a touch of strawberry menthol and light earth. I have yet to find a bottle of Vosne that isn’t excellent. Vanilla and cherry tobacco also present. Silky tannins and long finish. Great for a village wine and could drink the whole bottle in one go.

  This was at its best after I slow ox’d it for about four hours. I sipped it every hour along the way and it definitely needed the air to come into balance. Not that it wasn’t good earlier, but it was really special after the air. I could easily have drunk it right away but I’m glad I waited. Nose of cherry, plum and some exotic spices. Palate, beautifully balanced, with well integrated and very smooth tannins, lovely fresh acidity, really nice red and dark fruit and spice. Some very enjoyable sweetness mid palate that turned tart into the finish, which lasted a long time. Drank this with roast duck, which was perfect.

  Christmas 2023; 12/24/2023-12/26/2023 (Home): Belying the reputation that 2017s haven't closed down, this bottle (plucked from storage to help us eat more cheese) seemed, er, pretty shut down. Shrill and funky for around an hour, then eventually some silky, floral, red fruit; the final glass was really quite decent. I will wait a while before opening another bottle...

  Some Barnyard , some red fruit and tobacco. Got better along the evening. Not that Vosne-like , had some mineral thing and Gevrey spice , but turned against the Vosne spice. Classic made . A bit short in taste.

  VDS 2-72-3. Jean Grivot, Vosne Romanee 2017
  
  디스템으로 약간은 다크한 장그리보. 몇년전 15빈 레보몽을 시음했을때 팔렛에 비해 노즈가 좀 답답했었는데 17빈은 지금 마시기 딱 좋았다.
  줄기빠진 하늘하늘 함도 살아있고, 화려하고 풍성하진 않지만 잔잔하게 깔려있는 삼나무, 숲, 계곡 느낌에 라즈베리 계열을 베리뉘앙스. 피어날듯 말듯 은은하게 나는 장미.
  
  확실히 홀크러스터에 비해 약간은 심심하게 느껴질 수도 있지만 반대로 하늘하늘하고 상큼한 느낌도 좋고, 과하지 않은 오크로 충분히 좋은 느낌도 잘 살린듯 하다.
