  Consistent with my previous note from 2021. Maybe showing a bit more savory notes now. Drinking quite well, actually, but still has upside. 93+

  A wine that just makes you smile. You stick your nose in the glass and this wine is alive.
  Cherries, strawberries, and a bit of funky complexity leaping out the glass. That follows through into the palette with more cherry and sous bois and spices. Dusty tannins and a long finish.
  It's in a lovely place but has tons more life in it.

  Beautiful Morgon entering its drinking window. Cherries, earthy, savory, and coca cola (yes, I know).
  Very fresh and vibrant on the palate as well with great acidity.
  Worth seeking!

  Eye: Pale ruby
  Nose: M+, sweet spice, dried blueberry, tobacco, dried figs
  Mouth: acidity M+, tannin M, int M, cranberry, chocolate, coffee,, forest floor
  Finish: M+ coffee & chocolate
  A beautiful & elegant Beaujolais

  No contemporaneous notes. Dark colored, floral Gamay nose, concentration. spice and balanced on the palate. Excellent, and enjoyed by all at my friend's dinner.
  
  Served with the main course of incredible chicken, sprouts, beets and polenta, followed an excellent Domaine Marc Morey Chassagne 1er Cru Les Vergers a 2022 Kumeu River Coddington Chardonnay, and a 2001 Karsmuhle "Lorenzhofer" Riesling Auslese with a 2000 Bordeaux afterwards.
