Following a three-hour decant, this was like stepping into your most comfortable loafers. Perfectly balanced and so easy to enjoy. SoCal hillside aromas and tastes that lean toward herbs and red fruits. Lavender, thyme, bay leaf, ripe strawberry, followed by some asphalt and crazy spice in the finish. Lovely. Our favorite vintage of Bossman ever. Our only bottle, but, fortunately, some leftovers for tomorrow night. Drink now (with decant) through 2026. Outstanding.

Decanted two hours. This is a very primary and accessible Bossman with mixed fruit, pastille, and eucalyptus on the very viscous palate. The 2016 is less structured than other Bossman vintages I've tried and has more of the Sanguis fun factor.

Note sure of the composition, Syrah plays a major role. Only slight softening from the Grenache and Viognier. Very solid blending effort, unique.

Great and unique blend. Only needed a 30 minute decant.
