A generous tasting pour courtesy of DK. Deep ruby red color. Absolutely lovely bouquet featuring black cherry, pomegranate, boysenberry, nutmeg and florals. Very, very pretty. Generous mouthfeel with abundant red fruit, a touch warm, something along the lines of red plum, along with cherry, clove and nutmeg. Hints of something along the lines of sassafras/root beer in the finish. Excellent.

From a well-cellared bottle, this wine was popped and poured. Medium ruby in color, it continues to offer an aromatic profile of Bing cherries, baking spices, black tea, smoke, cocoa and juniper. Medium-bodied, fresh, lightly oaked and with medium sweet tannins, it delivers flavors in line with the aromas, has excellent mid-palate density and hides its 14.5% alcohol well. Finishing long and smooth, this wine has held up nicely since last being tasted approximately two years ago. It requires minimal aeration in order to fully unleash its charms. Drink now-2030.

Ripe & juicy, a medium plus Pinot with loads of energy and pizazz. Cola, cherries, strawberry-ish. Very enjoyable!
