Earthy and a bit rustic on the nose and on the palate with restrained fruit and Mediterranean herbs. An uplift of medium/light acidity on the back palate. Drying medium/light tannins with a lingering flavor of brambly blackberry make for a really nice finish.

Over 2 days. While it does not have the horsepower (i.e., the wine is a bit thin) to deliver that old world, classic CDP taste and aroma that definitely is present in this delicious wine, it's certainly is enough to know that you will not be disappointed. Super QPR.

This bottle is decidedly old world CdP, with an earthy terroir and minimal fruit. I prefer a cleaner, fruitier CdP. Downgrade a point. With great bottle variation, such as this, I’ll be curious as to the next one.
3/4/2022 note: This is too plump/pruny and lacking a cleanness/focus that most excellent CdPs seem to have. Good QPR, and definitely worth drinking, but not upper tier. 89 pts.

Well balanced and on lighter side for this wine. Not as tannic as some vintages.

1 year since my last bottle in 2 years since my first. Certainly seems to be improving, especially with the sweetness level being lowered a bit.
