I liked it, but my wife was not so keen. Kind of had a licorice taste to me, but for her it was something else and not to her liking. I would give another couple of points if she had liked it as well.

A Mix at Irene's (Irene's House, St. Paul): Medium ruby red color. PNP, drank a glass over 45 minutes. Tart bing cherry, earthy, herbal, medium bodied, cherry palate, traditional, surprisingly ready to go. Classy old school CdP style. 91+(+)pts.

Nice midweight, pepper inflected, red fruit - lovely Rhône exemplar.

Youthful. Nose is medium and full of cassis, black fruits, and black currant.
