The initial blast of citrus is joined by softer notes of white flowers, honeyed white fruit and buttered pastry after 30 mins or so. On the palate, energy and acidity carry layers of citrus, honey and crisp white fruit, but with a soft and elegant edge and a long, almond inflected finish. Perfectly harmonious and controlled. This is in a beautiful spot.

Liked but didn't love this - I normally find myself really enjoying this bottling, but this particular bottle seemed to lack a gear or two in depth compared to other vintages I've enjoyed more. Came across slightly simple and one-note, and I found myself wanting both another gear of complexity and a bit more energy on the palate.

Jasmine, honey, almonds, pastry, peach, cream … in a beautiful spot, progressed into a smooth, easy-going, gourmand blend of creamy, honeyed fruit with just a hint of spice and a nutty, lingering finish. Superb.

Excellent backbone and structure. Good depth and complexity, with a long finish. Still early - floral notes, honeysuckle and good minerality.

Burgundy Paulée with the Chevaliers du Tastevin (Chez Mike, East Greenbush, NY): Tart and juicy in the nose and mouth. Soft with a velvety mouth feel. A lovely wine.
