Notes completely consistent with Cos65. Murky, silty fine sediment that probably wouldn’t be helped by standing up, raw mushroom notes, lots of umami, red raspberry and a brisk line of acid.

This showed pretty well, but the fruit was very much on the tart, fresh side. Structure here bodes well for future aging. Enjoyable now, but this should have plenty of future development ahead.

Cloudy (traveled from Denver to CA) , med-dark garnet. Acids were disjointed on first pour, this needed time to aerate/settle, and in fact, it prolly showed best on day 3. Another 5-10 years of solid drinking ahead. Smoke, earth, truffle, with sweet cherry fruit emerging after an hour in the glass. I wish I had another. 13,5% abv, thru 2026. recommended
Served non-blind; 2 hour aeration in decanter (needed 7+ to fully open)

Scarlet garnet and a touch murky, but quite lovely.
Great acidity, earthy, mushroomy Red fruit flavors.
I don’t imagine this will get better.

Classic Gevrey. A bit of funk, good fruit, great food wine. Paired nicely with Kaiseki dinner
