Having tried my first bottle of this a few years ago and finding it some distance from being ready I consigned it to the cellar. Decided to check in again on the basis of some of the recent notes and this was lovely. Notes of maturity on the aroma without descending to Burgundy barnyard, lovely velvet texture, and with the cool, dark fruit flavour I see in all 99s with a hint of iron behind in classic Nuits style. My last few Burgundies haven't quite hit the mark, as is the occupational hazard, but this was really good. Certainly ready to drink, but I won't rush at the remainder as for me there is more to come as the remaining structure continues to soften and release more aroma

Of course, the last bottle from the case was the best - I should have started drinking them now. Lovely mature burgundy, with finesse and complexity. Can't afford to buy nowadays, unfortunately, with the direction prices have gone ...

(Domaine Robert Chevillon Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers) Dark cherry red color with pale meniscus; burnt rubber, murky, tart plum nose; odd, tart red fruit, tart cranberry, charmless palate; short-medium finish

NSG Central Tasting (Chicago): Something very off here. Wildly volatile nose and I couldn't dare taste it.
