WineBerserkers dinner (Chicago, IL): Definitely my favourite of the three red Burgs tonight. Ripe, potent, and powerful, with a fair bit of oak, though less toasty and spicy versus the Magnien. The fruit is more exuberant and broad; this has really good palate presence, especially with the black fruit. Plenty of potential ahead.

Solid, but didn’t impress as it should have. Early for a 2005 Grand Cru, so judgement reserved.

Well this didn't suck. Day one or day two. And was quite youthful to boot. So if you got 'em, smoke 'em, or don't!
