Somewhat muted at the moment, hints of black fruits, oak, smoke, hints of red fruits. While somewhat fat, the wine fades away rather quickly but then returns again for a short while hinting at future greatness. Not very impressive right now, it sure has enough potential, so it is better to wait another 5 years or so.

Last Tuesday Supper Club (One Penny Red, Summer Hill): Young, pretty black berry, a little spice, perfumed as well, floral top notes. Juicy, slightly concentrated savoury blackberry, alcohol is a little aggressive but it feels as if there is a pursuit of elegance which I find deeply pleasing, and is to be applauded.
