Refreshing and fruity wine, raspberry and strawberry notes present. Medium tannins for a Gamay; the balance with the acidity provided an elegant yet unrestrained mouthfeel. Paired extremely well with Nepalese-style lamb vindaloo, but I would expect it to drink well by itself or with charcuterie.
Much too young, the tannins are not well integrated and the nose is very fresh. It has lots of potential, but it needs a couple more years before being ready to drink

I buy this most vintages and it never fails to deliver. This one has black cherry and floral and perfumed notes. The palate has good intensity of bruised cherry notes with bitter, dark chocolate and long finish for a sub £15 bottle of wine.
