  The colour was quite fresh, although the wine poured out with a light cloudiness. It had remarkably fresh peach fruit on the nose and in the mouth. There was some flint and a touch of spice. The acidity was prominent and hung off the fruit a little. Relatively simple, but a very good showing for a wine from a difficult year and was quite delicious with the food.

Geoff advised that this had been heavily sulphured as it showed on opening and its transfer to a smaller screwcapped bottle had a very positive effect.
