Slightly medicinal sour cherry and stewed strawberry and some faint mint on the nose. Sour cherry on the palate with faint fruit sweetness. The tannins are more present and drying than in the Mazy from the same year. Good, classic Chambertin, but less fruit, fewer dimensions, and more austere than the Mazy. I preferred the Mazy.

Sous bois, mold, hints of cherry; pure, smooth, pointed, intense, fairly long finish
