Really elegant and full bodied with a lemony finish. Karen and I drank a bottle with lobster boiled then broiled with cream! Accompanied with potato and leeks, it was magnificant. I would hazard to say this wine is at optimal maturity and will hold for the decade.

A heavenly night of Pichon!!! (Seattle, WA, USA): A uniquely doughy nose, very yeasty, almost like baking sourdough bread. The palate is voluptous in texture with a lemony edge behind the leesy notes. The finish is terrific, huge actually, with searing acidity that really brings this wine into focus. Very nice.
