I think Bouchard's 1er Cru Whites (especially the Perrières and Genevrières) are among the best values in Premier Cru White Burgundy. The '18s are drinking well.

We tried the three mersaults 2018 from Bouchard: Perrieres, Genevrieres and Charmes. Perrieres was at times just amazing, Genevrieres quite backward, Charmes open and charming, but the least complex. Group voted from 92-95 p. These could need a little time in cellar.

Surprisingly wonderful to drink now. Lovely nose with pear and citrus flavors. Medium to full-bodied with citrus, almost oily and a pretty long mineral finish. The balance is simply supurb. I recent had the 2007 which had Grand Cru power og was excellent with food and the 2001, which at age 20 had no signs of fading and an equally supurb balance.

A deep and dense wine that is compact and unyielding for now. There's a hint of bergamot and ripe peach. It is sappy and voluminous and has Perrieres' streak of minerality. Needs a bit of cellar time to relax.

Full ripe orchard fruit. Golden apple/pear, broad nose. In check but definitely ripe. Good length
