Tasting pour; first time with Jean Noel Gagnard; this is an impressive wine; the nose is explosive with acacia blossom and lilac, sweet spice, ripe red pear, red apple, a hint of butterscotch; the palate is dense and powerful and while it feels slightly opulent it manages to retain some lightness and lift to keep it together; the finish is super long lingering with spice tinged orchard fruits. Heady stuff. Would love to try a bottle of this over a meal as it was impressive. Will definitely be adding this producer to the list of wines to find

[J&B Burgundy 2018 tasting in London]
An astonishing wine (at an equally astonishing price).
Tasted after the Chenevottes and Caillerets PCs.
