Nose: Aromas of both red and black cherry. Currant and a bit of eucalyptus or mint and a little butterscotch.
Taste: Plentiful red and black fruits on the pallet. I got cherry, raspberry, plumb, licorice, leather and spice. This was a medium bodied wine with soft tannins and bright acidity. Had a velvety smooth mouth feel.
Overall: This is a well-balanced wine. Not your typical big bold, full-bodied Napa Cab. This was a leaner wine. It was quite sophisticated and seemed to made more like an old world Bordeaux than a lush Napa wine. It was a pleasure to drink

Pop and pour. Aromas of blackberry, vanilla, currant, lead pencil and iron. Flavors of blackberry, currant, black cherry, mocha and bit of iron. Ends with a 25-30 second finish with mocha and blackberry notes. Served a bit cool but drinking quite nice for a pop and pour.

Great Napa cab; through the dark fruit, I pick up the cedar on the nose; color is dark, body medium; sweet fruit on the tip gives way to silky but significant tannins coating the entire tongue, especially at the end of the bottle. Great with grilled filet mignon.

Feels overpriced, though pleasant enough. May benefit from more time. Has a somewhat cool profile, not that rich.
