  Had this with a 2014 Roumier and after a couple white Meursaults. Maybe because it was the 4th bottle, maybe because it was too young, but I didn’t like this wine as much as I was hoping to. Given how highly rated the wine is, I was a bit let down. That said it was a good wine and probably will get better with time. Overall it had a dark color, wasn’t too fruity, and was a bit flat for my taste.

  2018 red Burgundy tasting (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany): *** all wines decanted 1-2h before and tasted double blind ***
  Glass: Zalto Burgundy
  Clear, deep ruby color. Clean, very reductive and dense nose, that gets more and more sexy over time.
  High, ripe acidity, high, silky tannin. On the palate at first some green (stems) and herbaceous notes, that gives the wine a wonderful freshness and grip. With time it develops a wonderful juicy sexiness. Very long and lingering. This is clearly the best wine in this flight with a bright and shiny future for the next decades. 93-94++
