Tastes and smells pretty flat. Good wine for sure, but just pretty darn flat. And quite acidotic in comparison on the palate. Fairly taught on the palate. Acidity is pretty perky and disjointed.

Don't judge a book by its cover and don't judge a wine by its first or even second glass. First glass - sour red cherry, high acidity and tannins. Second glass - the same. Third glass - ripe red cherry, acidity and tannins from the beginning to the end, but all these 3 components are nicely melted with vanilla, cedar, tabacco, spice. Suddenly this wine is savory, tasty, fresh, addictive. Red cherry taste is incredible. Some sweet flavors appear in the middle. Smell is is lovely and complex. Aromas of red cherry ( of course!), tabacco, prune (am I first?), minerals, cedar, some dark fruits. Judging by the book this wine should get no more then 90 pts. ( high acidity and tannins). Judging by noble members of Vivino it is high quality wine, because they discovered elegance, great structure and balance. Red cherry taste is simply out of this world. Succulent Luscious Nectareous It sucks your tongue like a baby mother's breast
Upgrading the wine from 93 to 96
Tim Atkins is right!!!
Update - Ford glass and cedar is the king aromas realm. More sweet flavors in taste and longer finish! Lovely wine!
