Decanted 4hrs which proved absolutely necessary. Next to the Roumier this was a hulking, blundering prop forward of a wine, but one which acknowledged its relatively lowly calling with an ear-to-ear grin and won the hearts of the group with its brazenly exotic spice and jammy black fruits. Only its obvious 14% alc lets it down. Finally a wine which shows best in a Zalto Burg!
