Exquisite, elegant and firing on all cylinders. supple red cherry and red fruits with earthy aged smoke. paired great with smoked duck and quail for christmas dinner. only regret is that is was my last bottle.

2 hour decant- good fruit up front, average balance at best. Finish is somewhat lacking and wine is a bit thin. However, all in all a very pleasant wine with no heat and will hold and improve for many years.

Tuesday Night Double Blind $80+ (Bin 75): Crimson core with pale rim; funk, sulfur, meaty cherry, leaner, roses, medicinal, sour cherry, very red fruit, slight orange oil, woodsy finish, serving temp was too warm for me, grainy tannin, nice fruit and depth; not exactly sure on this but was not on Cotes de Nuits; not given enough air to be opened this young; 91+.

Good wine with nice flavor. Not quite Grand Cru Quality, but still a nice wine to share with friends. Great nose and soft palette...just not very complex. Seems more like a premier Cru rather than a Grand Cru.

Ripe and mature nose and a touch of Brett does not distract. Medium to full in the mouth, this represents the vintage well
