  From a magnum. Quite purple; still on the young side. Flavors rounded out after a 2 1/2 hour decant. Clean, medium+ body Syrah.

  so smooth not a hint of any tannins almost to the point of being begging..some dark red fruits ..a little underwhelming for the red past a dish we had

  Beautiful lifted expression of syrah. Floral with lifted ripe black and blue fruit. Magnum to Magnum comparison with St. Cosme Cote Rotie 2015. Most preferred the Texier.

  Always a delicious Syrah, on the plush and soft side in 2018, but still showing great freshness and typicity. Aromas of black fruit, black pepper, violets, olives... juicy and satin textured, deceptive structure, this grips long but gently. Fresh and lively through the finish, lots of dark fruit and spice lingering long, interesting subtle minty and herbal notes too. This will age well, at least 5 more years.
