This wine is still going strong. Soft and smooth, juicy fruit, plenty of fruit left. Day 2 - fruit faded for the most part, but leaving behind something nice and still smooth.

1995 Arns Cabernet Savignon Estate Grown - Wine was still youthful upon opening . A soft, unobtrusive nose gave way to palate that still had structure. After the first hour, the wine was at its peak and then seemed to start to fade. For a second I questioned whether I was drinking an old Burg. that was fading or a Napa Cab...... Either the wine is in a weird phase or its heading past it's prime. Can't make a final call on it. Although the wine did show typical Arn's tannic nature within the 1st hour.

Decanted by Capital Grille for John before dinner; med. ruby, nice red fruit, soft tannins, med. finish; very nice, mature CA cab, drink up

Surprising amount of pretty red currant fruit in the middle. Drink now. In a great spot.
