Last tried a year ago and my notes were consistent with my fellow CT'ers. "Closed but with potential." This year, after a decant and aeration, this one has popped open. Supple mouthfeel, vibrant acidity to carry through. Nice length. Can develop further, but I'm not at all disappointed. Note: from a 375ml. bottle.

This is one tightly coiled Merlot. Some primary red fruits, salted black licorice, while the acidity and tannins dominate at the moment. (Followed over two days) There seems to be real potential in there though, like it is holding something in reserve. A producer to watch, and a good QPR. Rating: 90+

It needs time to decant. Very closed when opened.

Agree - another year or two to really develop. Looking forward to it.
