Dark garnet. Sweet stewed fruit, cherry, plum, prune, smoke, earth, chocolate. Fully developed. Dry palate, medium acidity, high alcohol, full body, medium+ chalky tannins, med+ finish, a bit drying. Good but not classic Bordeaux. Alcohol our=t of balance, lacks freshness, but flavours and aromas have some complexity and concentration.

Last bottle of a case of this great QPR Bordeaux. This one was better than the previous bottle (which was out of balance, with noticeably high alcohol notes). Having said this, I think the wine is now past (or soon to be past) its drinking window. I recommend drinking up if you're holding any!
PnP. Greatly out of balance compared to previous bottles. Lots of ripe fruit but alcohol dominates the middle palate and finish. Has been a great QPR but it may be past its drinking window. One remaining bottle which I’ll pop in the next few months to see if this was an off one. Can’t complain though, as I've gotten much pleasure out of this inexpensive Bordeaux.

Last tasted 3 years ago this is still going strong. This is good value for money if you can find some.

Round, fleshy with an easy to like black cherry, licorice, espresso and cocoa character that is fully developed.
