4th Saturday Brown Bagger (R&D’s): Double blind. Chocolate, cassis, currants and sandalwood notes. Full-bodied and lush, with an abundance of black fruits- cassis, blackberry and black cherry. Lingering finish. Excellent. (R&D)

It's shed some of the early oak, and settled into a midweight blend. I'll be curious if my last bottle acquires more distinction, but for now, it is a savory, black fruit, slightly too structured bdx blend.

Matured nicely - dark red and blue fruit, probably the merlot dominant, nice acidty, evolved tannins - nicely balanced and in a great window to drink.

Likely will get better with more time, but currently a little overwhelmed by oak. Nice fruit, and decent acidity, but needs to shed some vanilla.
