Offene Nase, sehr Bordeaux. Feine Würze, viel Frische, ein Mix aus dunklen und roten Beeren. Im Gaumen zugänglich, auf den Punkt gereift, feines Tannin, gute Säurestruktur, rote Beeren im angenehm langes Finale. Top Value. 90 vvPunkte. (Verkostet im April 2023 auf Château Phélan Ségur)

Some cedar on nose. Black currant and plum with some spice on palate. Medium bodied and acidity with silky soft tannins. Not much complexity and I'm not sure it will improve much with further cellaring. Underwhelming and I expect more from a Bordeaux blend for NZ$66 when I compare with wines from Waiheke Island and Gimblett Gravels appellations in New Zealand.

One hour double decant. Very very deep magenta color. Lingonberry, baker’s chocolate, bay leaf, and subtle pound cake. Smooth, dry palate, with soft acidity. Minimal tannins on the medium finish.
Not bad for the money, but nothing I’d seek out. Quite simple, although there was nothing wrong.

Took a long while to open up. Full bodied with lots of fresh wood. Black currant, licorice, all spice, mint and cedar. Long finish. Felt like it was missing something though.slightly acidic and out of balance.

En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Six (Bordeaux): Ripe plums, blackcurrant, a lot of sweet spice and plenty of dark berry compote in support. Medium to medium plus intensity acidity, slightly more savoury on the palate with a touch of drying bur fairly softly textured tannic burr. Simple. Okay
