Decanted off the sediment into an aerating decanter, ran back into bottle after rinse. Expressive nose with lots going on - mostly good. Flavors bright, acidity appropriate. Overall a very good wine with a few off edges in the background. Had this stored 1 degree over the recommended 14C... Applaud the no-sulfur effort as something fun to explore. Note - after 2 hours open this has become sour and acidic on the palate, last glass dumped.

Red fruited and peppery. Rather mild attack on the palate (carbonic?) with fine chalky finish. Lovely freshness, just a hint of funk on the back of the palate which may be some sort of brett that takes away from an otherwise fantastic bojo.

A very DP Birthday party (DP's, Goose Hollow, Portland OR): The nose took a little bit of swirling to really wake itself up. As it does, it shows off a real fragrant and crunchy side with red fruits, fresh picked berries, violets, strawberries, wet clay, and roses. The Medium bodied feel is vibrant and fresh with mouthwatering, medium+ acidity and silky, medium tannins. This is a really good Beaujolais that could use a few years to settle into itself. There is a lot of youthful exuberance at the moment that could settle in well with another 3+ years.

A signature Beaujolais cru by one of founders of a method and a style that are now followed everywhere. Bright and light, but with enough weight and matter. Light cherry and raspberry, with a hint of licorice on the end and an elusive fatty note. Elegant and well-toned.

This was pretty and fresh with lively acidity but marred by ethyl acetate on the finish, indicating the ferment got too warm iirc.
