Raspberry nose with pronounced red rose aromas and a slightly sour "natural wine" funkiness. Red raspberry and red cherry palate is precise and polished, delivering a single, harmonious note, holding it for 8-10 seconds, and then flowing into the the finish of medium tannins, cranberry, light earth, and lighter red floral notes. It's a "feminine" wine that chooses balance and a focus on the fruit over complexity and power. A pleasure to drink on its own right now.

I was a bit disappointed with this bottle, given the high expectations I had for the "N" bottling. On opening, this was just.... flabby. Not very focused, and fairly soft. I sadly chalked it up to bottle variation, recorked, and put it back in the cellar.
It improved noticeably the next day, but still on the ripe side. Overall I'd say it's a decent wine, but not one I'd buy again, which is a shame considering I usually love Lapierre's Morgon. I have a few more bottles and I am curious to find out whether this was an off bottle or not.

coravined glass after finishing up some great Clos de la Roilette. a clear departure into next level... vibrant and charming from the second the cork is pulled (the perfume!) through the finish.
almost through a case and no brett bombs or otherwise flawed.
