Last bottle, PnP. A beautifully aged claret. Beautiful aromas of black cherries, plum, cassis, blackberries, tobacco, hint of funk that disappears quickly. Loaded with flavor, blackberry, black cherries, tobacco, plums, anise, spice. Silky tannins in a long finish. Deep , complex and rich. Showing beautifully. NO hurry to open if you still have any, but it is showing very well now. Minimal bricking at the edge.

Dark, dark red color with very slight fading at the rim. Dark-fruited on the nose, black cherries, blackberries, bit of funk that quickly blows off. Still intense on the palate but elegant. Black cherries, tobacco, plums. Smooth tannins, lovely acidity, fine balance. Finishes long and gradual with plums and currants. Becomes smoother and deeper with air. Still at peak and should drink well for another 5 years. 60% Merlot; 35% Cabernet Sauvignon; 5% Petite Verdot. 14.1% ABV but no heat.

Color still decent although some browning. Nose a bit pruny, but palate overall still pretty nice.Tar and dark fruit. Improved over a couple of hours, and enjoyable. But more or less time to drink up. 90-91

A big mountain Cabernet, blend. Aromatic with smoke and cherries, followed by juicy red and black fruits, saturated flavors, and a long finish. Heavy oak is evident. Needs 30 minutes in a decanter. Will hold for years but drinking well now.

Great depth and balance from one of my favorite Napa vintages. Plenty of time left on this.
