Bouquet: Cherry, strawberry, raspberry, pepper notes. Palate: Smooth, elegant. Flavor: Like the nose with hints of earth and light oak toast. Comment: This has held up well. Not complex but flavors well-integrated; nice food wine. A little pricey at $24, though not bad.

Medium light red color with some moderate bricking. The nose is the highlight and quite good: earthy, red raspberry, cherry, vanilla, spice. The palate is consistent but the intensity seems a bit flat, acid is fair, fine tannns, a little alcohol creeps in on the finsih at times. This may be past peak.

Color: somewhat pale, clear, red-amber ruby color. Smell: Hint of oak over cranberry, lemon, earth, old-world pinot-ness. Taste: lemon, vanilla, cherry, cranberry, lemon, light-mouthfeel, and a pleasant nice acidity on the finish, albeit short. Good value.

(Willamette Valley Vineyards Pinot Noir Willamette Valley) Nice, tart cherry and sour cream nose; tart red fruit, cherry palate with good acidity; medium finish

Cranberry, higher acidity, characteristic tanginess.
