Opened two botttles. First one oxidized and undrinkable. Second one delicious with plenty of life left. I owned both since original release. Both properly cellared. Annoying.

WCC Barolo & Barbaresco Blind (Yono's Restaurant, Albany, NY): [Decanted around 11:30am and left it in the decanter until 3pm.] Young and sweet with nice tannin and tar. Not a lot of complexity, but may blossom with an 5-10 years in the cellar.

Second bottle. Delicious barolo. Plenty of life. Needed time to open up and lose its edge.

nose of prunes; on the palate medium to full-bodied, luscious rich mouthfeel
with an interesting array of hard and soft tannins.
