Good at PnP but better on day 2. Juicy, very soft tannins, less than full bodied, subdued nose, lower extraction, blackberry cassis cocoa powder bell pepper cinnamon pencil shavings and a maybe a hint of citrus like kumquat. Medium length. Good balance. Limited depth.

Comprised of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that is sourced from Buehler's most esteemed vines, this is a wine that demands plenty of patience after the cork has been popped. From a bottle that was uncorked and Vinturi-decanted, it requires another two hours in decanter in order to fully unleash its aromatic and flavor profiles. Thereafter, it is laden with scents of black cherry liqueur, cassis, smoke, anise and dried herbs. Full-bodied, fresh, seamlessly alcoholic (14.1%), judiciously oaked and with plentiful sweet tannins, it delivers flavors that are in line with the aromas. Dense on the mid-palate and lengthy on the back end, this is an impressive Napa Cab that will require a bit of time in the cellar. Drink 2024-2033.
