A little thin and light for what I was expecting. At first, wood and dried plum. Then ripe cherry, almond, dirt. Strong cranberry juice at the finish. Overall just not very complex and the oak notes seem to be lost.

A business lunch (Restaurant Vineum, Rotterdam, NL): A blend of 60% Garnacha, 30% Tempranillo and 10% Viura, 48 months in neutral American oak and 48 months in bottle. Orange colour with tawny reflections; clear and fresh style, needs time in the glass to open up, balsamic, candied fruit and spices, dried orange, hints of cold tea and sweet oak on the finish.

On the nose subtle strawberry. Medium bodied, dry, crisp, smooth and elegant, delivering dried strawberry and cranberry, a slightly oxidative/sherry aspect and a light creamy mouthfeel on the finish. Wow, a darn delicious rosé!
