  Consumed at Carbone Miami with a hedonistic amount of pasta and veal parmesan.
  
  A: visible sediment, deep tawny core into a lighter red/brown rim
  N: med intensity, almost all tertiary notes, leather, earth, mushroom, mossy floor, some floral notes of hawthorne and acacia
  P: med intensity, stewed cherries, fig, stewed strawberries, plenty of earthiness, forest floor, wet earth, licorice
  
  Low tannins, soft but still there, med acid, med body. A beautiful Borolo that shows how it changes structurally with age. Quite a lot of earth with a lot of the fruit being overpowered by those tertiary notes. Would definitely say it is time to drink this if you have it. 91pt

  Served in Burgundy glasses. Easy to confuse the nose, according to our sommelier friend, with red Burgundy. Still sharp, rose-red with a touch of brown on the eye. A touch of barrel and excellent fruit on the nose as well. Soft on the palate with still eminent fruit and Bordeaux like tannin. Long finish. Excellent!!!
