Bright cherry red. Very crunchy nose, cranberry, redcurrant, peppery, emerging mushroom and forest floor, super! Red crunchy fruits open the batting, puckering but excellent tannin and acidity, bright and very lively . Really good and age will evolve this further. Day 2, this is exceptionally good. Crunchy bright red fruit, lively with pep in the background. Sangiovese of class.

PnP that was ready to go straightaway. Great energy/freshness, vg sense of grape/place with soil, forest, deep cherry notes, etc. Textbook CC. Organically farmed vines at a good altitude and exposition. 13,5% abv. Drink now or in the coming several years. VG representative in the under $20 category. recommended+
Dark inky red. Crisp redcurrant and cranberries nose, blackcurrants. Gentle tannin, light, grip. Little bit of mushroom and forest floor comes through with some air. Understated at this stage. With some more time in the glass, this rises nicely. Bright red fruit comes through, softened by an earthy blackcurrant, tannins are crisp and present. Lovely.

Textbook Chianti Classico and ultimate food companion. Sour cherries, a bit of earthiness, hint of black pepper. Once it opens, chocolate and leather come in. Marked acidity with grippy, but not overwhelming taninns. Complemented spaghetti al pomodoro beautifully and also worked great with cheese with truffles. A bit restricted at first, definitely needs at least a bit of time to open up.
