Chardonnay tasting (at my home): Appearance: Pale straw in color, with bright glints of green. Nose: Intense and expressive, with aromas of citrus fruits (lemon, grapefruit), stone fruits (apricot, peach), and minerality (wet stones, flint). There are also hints of honey, vanilla, and spice. Palate: Medium-bodied with a vibrant acidity. The fruit flavors are ripe and juicy, with a core of minerality that provides balance and structure. The finish is long and lingering, with a touch of salinity. Overall: A beautiful and well-balanced Meursault from a highly regarded producer. The 2017 vintage was a warm and dry year in Burgundy, and this wine shows off the ripe fruit and minerality that is characteristic of this vintage. It is still young and will continue to evolve in the bottle for many years to come.

Superb! Pale yellow, lemon nose. Elegant fruit: lemon, green apple, honey melon, pineapple with vanilla. Wonderful creamy texture. Overall great structure, full body in combination with elegance. Long, balanced finish with some salty notes and very decent acidity. Will hold for many more years.

Wonderful. Slight Reduction on nose. Some background matchstick. Plenty of Orchard fruit. It's clean, brisk and balanced. Palate has some Meursault creaminess in the middle. Finishes with a youthful, puckering green apple tartness.

Lemon, mineral-stony, touch of the tropical/coconut, medium bodied. Like this a lot. Very good with baked sole and a mushroom-wine sauce.
