  Too good a wine for a Tuesday at home with Flank Steak and Ratatouille but it grabbed my eye and I grabbed the bottle. Delicious, red and mostly blue fruits in a ripe, succulent, juicy medium to full bodied package with just starting secondary nuance and character. Maybe not as flavorful as the 02 Clos de Papes, but I'd have to have them side by side. Regardless, this is an excellent wine in a very good place with another decade of positive evolution in front of it. 92+

  Blueberries on the nose, soft tannins, delicious with roasted chicken in the early spring

  Circa drei Flaschen zwischen 2006 und 2012 getrunken. Für diese schwierigen Jahrgangsbedingungen eine sehr gute Leistung. Angeblich wurde sehr stark selektioniert, so dass nur ein Fass übrig blieb. Eher herbstliche Aromen mit verhaltener Frucht aber präsenter Frucht.
  Mittelgewichtig, ausgeglichen mit einem mittleren Alterspotential. Bei der letzten ca. 2012 getrunkenen Flasche merkte ich, dass es Zeit ist den Wein auszutrinken. Jetzt vermutlich über dem Zenit.

  Höhepunkt: vermutlich 2006-2010
  Punkte: ca. 89

  Nez qui me semble un peu bretté, avec cependant du beau fruit noir. Très belle bouche, texture crémeuse, moins dense que le précédent mais d’un superbe équilibre, avec une très belle finale minérale. Pris pour le 2004, ce qui confirme la qualité incroyable vu la piètre réputation du millésime 2002. 92-93 pts
