Delicious, really well-balanced with lovely raspberry/ cherry fruit. A very pleasant surprise - Mrs H loved this. Drink up as this is very good now and is unlikely to improve.

PnP'd at dinner alongside a fleshier California syrah blend, hence the crunchy red and black fruit, tannins and acidity still evident made it stand out. Youthful boysenberry, black plum and licorice stand out with barely-there tar, tea and orange peel peeking around the edges. Medium plus body, plenty of structure, and not much secondary development. Should reward further cellaring.

Showing well. Not truly exceptional, but a warm, rich fruit with a burnt/oaky edge to it which was just about in balance.

Nez profond de sous bois. Beaucoup de fruits à l'aération. Prunes. Bouche dense et bien équilibrée. Parfait avec des tripes épicées.
