Tasting at Domaine Louis Jadot w/ Frederic: 100+ year old vines. Impressive richness and density to the black cherry fruit with great power, and yet so fresh and precise. Excellent persistence. 93-94+

Grandes Maisons Grands Crus - Grands Jours de Bourgogne 2024 (Santenay): Chapelle Chambertin. Tight and strict, earthy with pine. A little charmless at this point, in need of cellar time. 92+

Wednesday Cellar Visits in Burgundy - Louis Jadot, Faiveley, and Bernard Moreau (Cote d'Or): Tasted at Jadot. Black cherry and berry come across as both ripe and elegantly styled on both nose and palate. Good weight, very good concentration and length with silky structure and sneaky power. Also 92-93 point potential.
