Astoundingly beautiful palate on immediate opening, so soft, great acid in balance, thick mouth filling finish while remaining weightless across the front to back.
Within an hour went flat and turned pretty closed.
Day two, a glimpse of more clean clean floral elegance (not the overbearing Alsace aromatic varietal ‘floral’) with the same flat weight.
Day 3, holy sweet jesus. Insane blast of lemons, concentration of yellow and white stone fruit across the palate, always weightless, 1 minute-plus finish evolving from flinty smoke to churned Mosel butter to washed rind cheese to pure lemon essence. Just incredible stuff.

Pricey for a Bourgogne Blanc but assume this is declassified Puligny. Minerals, citrus, white flower and sometimes a hit of licorice on the nose, pretty complex stuff for a bourgogne. Palate slightly less interesting but with good flavors texture and a long finish. Probably improving with time.

Coravin in Marts ‘23 : Citrus and a bit too Citrus-like. A bit too young. The rest in Oct. ‘23 : Lemon with candied fruit. More round but still with clean freshness. Minerality. 86 before and 88/90 now. I will wait 6-12 month.

Entry Level Domaine Leflaive Tasting (Chicago Wine - Glenview IL): Walk around tasting. A simply wonderful Bourgogne with good balance and depth and impressive fruit density. Very good Bourgogne, even if not as clearly as good a $100 wine.
