Mid to dark straw. Relieved to see not premoxed. Has developed quite a bit in the last 2 years - now soft stonefruit against a flint and slightly honeyed background - quite moreish and a nice wine to start lunch with. Won't get better from here. ***+

Totally different bottle. Darker, more tired and borderline premox. Notes of pineapple and tequila-like agave. Thick, not much acid. Luckily, my last one. Sad that Burgundy is not aging like it used to.

Deliciously voluptuous. I cannot believe this is a regional wine. Full bodied, medium acid, unctuous texture, honeyed and citrus flavors. Some mineralogy but this is not Chablis. Reminds me more of Puligny. Excellent bottle.

(Domaine Leflaive Bourgogne Blanc) Bright light yellow color; appealing, lemon, lemon cream, vanilla, floral, orange blossom and acacia nose with some botrytis sweetness; round, sweet lemon, tart orange, acacia, vanilla oak palate; medium finish
(Leflaive Bourgogne) High-toned with plenty of action - it’s quite pretty. There’s a mineral aspect to the flavours, decent acidity and length. Not worth the tariff, but a good wine.

Grapefruit, melon and peach on the nose and palate. Good for its level but certainly overpriced (>US$100).

Not premoxed. Slightly faded. Caramel, tropical fruit, agave syrup. Good weight but high alc. Like an expensive american chardonnay
