First wine of the first flight of two whites. Visually, this was a stark difference in color between the 2002 Ramonet Vergers. Almost yellow in glass, this showed great tension and balance with some fine flint and matchstick hanging there. Palate was showing ripe with plum, apricots, mandarin peel, cream and lemongrass. Good balance between elegance and power, great tension and was drinking pretty amazingly!

This bottle is more ripe than the other btls. Some flint, gentle oak, and ripe yellow fruit on the nose and palate. Even from the same case, theres substantial bottle variation. This btl is advanced. No score given its not a perfect btl.

Consistent with previous note. Clean and crispy yellow fruit, lemon and vanilla oak on the nose and palate. The ripe vintage balanced out roulots leaner style. Good stuff. The only reason I gave a lower score is because the nut fruit did not emerge. Roulots wine is backward. Breathe it for 2-3 hours if you consume it now. 91+

Brought by a friend... 1st flight (blinded) - we were all leaning everywhere 'cept Meursault. Very nice showing with everything in check.

Roulot Meursault Les Tessons Clos de Mon Plaisir Dinner with some Pierre Morey Tessons (Formento's - Chicago IL): Tasted single blind, served double blind to the group. Ripe and intense with weight beyond what could ever be expected from Villages. Slightly more lush than elegant, but so enjoyable now.
