Burgundy tasting (K&L Wine Merchant - San Francisco): Initial nose of a cranberry twist (if that's even possible) that blows off with some time. Aromas of small, dark red berries and wet mulch. A nice sense of freshness seems to bless the fruits here.
Flavors of intense and vivid dark red fruits that dance on the mid palate, giving off a prickly sensation. Awesome brightness like sunlight cutting through gray clouds. Shiny minerals on the finish. Great acidity and good finish.
Favorite red of the lineup. If you live in Europe, this is worth it. Getting it at the marked up prices here in the states kinda suck. I guess it's still worth it if you have money to blow like that.

95 pts
