This should have been decanted several hours or opened the night before.
After an hour or so in the decanter it did unfurl, surprised actually in a good way. Its a great wine. Bit modern style but the balance and finish are superb.
Saved half the bottle. Will revisit in the next day or so. I have a feeling its not going anywhere if I wait a few days.
Aroma A+. Very suave on the palette. Its so young but surprisingly accessible. Regardless, best to keep hands off until at least its 10th birthday, probably 20 would be more in line with optimum drinking window.
OK 3 days later and got to the other half of the bottle. MUCH better. Smoother. Lost the harshness thankfully.
