Fragrance of dust and black fruit. Tannins well resolved and integrated with the blackberry and slight blueberry fruit. Paired well with rack of lamb and a sweet potato. Good value wine from our anniversary year.

Stored at 55 F degrees since purchase. Medium bodied and at peak or a little past. Soft tannins w/Black cherry, cassis, lipstick notes lead to a moderately rich midpalate of the same w/a little bit of blackberry. Medium finish. Very drinkable. 1 hr. later: although it doesn't improve much in the glass the nose really blossomed w/cedar and cassis.

Serious black currant aromas with a hint of cherries. Dense, dark purple color, but reaching it's drinking apex. Still not bad for an eleven year old cabernet.

(Beringer Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Knights Valley) Dark red violet color; focused ripe cassis nose with caramel depth; refined cassis, satsuma plum, layered plum and mint palate with sweet tannins, refined and age worthy; medium finish
