Colour: medium(-) lemon yellow Nose: medium intensity, secondary, youthful. Lemon, lemon peel. Melon. Apple, poire d'Anjou. Lemongrass. Touch of oak: cedar, vanilla. Palate: dry, medium(+) acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium bodied. Medium intensity, medium(+) length finish. Lemon, lemon peel. Melon. Apple, poire d'Anjou. Lemongrass. Touch of oak: cedar, vanilla. Conclusions: very good. Can drink now, but suited to further ageing. Made from 70% Garganega and 30% Trebbiano di Soave grown on volcanic soil and air-dried on the vines for one month prior to harvest. Single vineyard from near Monteforte d’Alpone. Seal: screwcap. DAY2: left in the fridge overnight. Still very good. Some barley sugar showing, and maybe a bit more of a saline, mineral edge. Acidity is very lithe and fresh. Is there a soupçon of residual sugar? Not sure, if so it's not very apparent due to the lively acidity.

70/30 Garganega/Trebbiano, the Garganega is dried on the vine. Unique style, rich, dried melon, creamy lemon, lemongrass, has some phenolic tones in the structure, actually needs some time bc of that. Should do very well with age, great value.

Charming mid weight, with pretty florals and a nice lemon apple twang. Good, but no more than that. Maybe my second bottle will improve with some age.

A fuller, riper, more extracted Soave. Made as if the grapes were slightly dried. Different from the typical style, but nice.
