  nerello mascalese somehow at a crossroads between a nebbiolo and a pinot noir. Elegant and powerful at the same time. Maybe youthful still, a little bit. Scents of ripe red fruit with some spices, at the palate some bitterness which does not disturb the complex taste of elegance and power. A peculiar wine so far away from ordinary cathegories, worth a repeted try and enjoy. After a fast bike ride to PC on the Po river banks

  Maybe it’s the vintage, maybe its bottle variation, but this bottle is missing the wild cherry-ness of past vintages. It’s a bit flat. A little medicinal.
